ATLAS PERCUSSION
Noah Cole is thrilled to return to Atlas in 2024 as Educational Director. As Educational Director, he supervises all teaching staff to ensure all students receive an excellent education while at Atlas. At Atlas, he leads pedagogy workshops, gives critical feedback to staff through observation, and helps students become active learners.Â

Noah has worked in a variety of roles in the marching arts. Aside from teaching high school groups in Florida, he was an instructor at the Academy Drum and Bugle Corps from 2018-2022. At Academy, he was variously a visual tech, bass tech, and battery tech. He taught at Ancient City Ensemble from 2017-2020 in both music and visual roles. Recently, he taught at the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps on visual staff for the 2023 season. Additionally, he was on battery staff at The Cadets for the 2023 season. He will return to the Cadets in 2024.Â

Noah marched DCA, WGI, and DCI. He marched with the Sun Devils in 2013 and 2014. During this time, he marched Ancient City Ensemble in 2014. He made the jump to World Class with the Colts in 2015 and 2016. Additionally, he marched with Atlanta Quest in 2015 and 2016. He aged out at the Cadets in 2017.Â

Noah is a PhD Candidate in Medieval History at Florida State University. He studies ideologies of political factionalism in fifteenth century Italy, with a specific focus on religious and humanistic thought. He currently teaches an undergraduate history class: Ancient and Medieval Civilizations.
