Ryan Sayers is a local music educator in the Orlando area, where he has been a long-time supporter and performer in the marching arts. From a young age, Sayers was fortunate to learn from some of the biggest percussion faces in the scene, starting with the percussion studios of Beth and Danny Gottlieb. Sayers was a marching member with Ancient City Ensemble in their 2014 and 2015 seasons, after which he performed with Atlanta Quest for the 2016 indoor season. As a performer, Sayers prided himself as someone who took every bit of knowledge possible from those instructing, and sought to use that information to mold him into the educator he is today.

For the 2018 season, he returned to Ancient City where he assumed the role of Battery Coordinator, and in 2019 was the Battery Coordinator and Arranger for the season that returned the ensemble to Open Class finals in Dayton, Ohio. Sayers also had the opportunity to be the Co-Percussion Director at Lake Minneola HS from 2015-2017, as well as Allen D. Nease HS from 2019-2021.

Sayers graduated from the University of Central Florida where he earned a Bachelors of Science in International Relations and Political Science. Sayers resides in Jacksonville, FL, where he enjoys watching soccer, playing disc golf, and works in global threat intelligence. He is excited to have the opportunity to lead a team of such talented individuals and looks forward to many years of success for Atlas Percussion in the marching arts theater.
