Andy is a native Floridian, born and raised in Valrico, FL outside of Tampa. He graduated from Durant High School in Plant City, FL. In his time there, Andy performed in numerous ensembles including the Wind Ensemble, Indoor Percussion, Winter Guard, and Marching Band. Having cultivated a love for the marching arts, Andy toured with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corp from Rosemont, Illinois where he earned a World Championship in 2002. Andy also performed with such groups as the USF Winter Guard, Northeast Independent Winter Guard, and has worked as a performer at Disney Sea in Tokyo, Japan. Professionally, Andy focuses on marching band drill, winter guard staging, and color guard choreography. Andy has worked with numerous groups around the United States including the WGI Finalists Lowndes High School (GA), Fleming Island High School (FL), Robinson High School (FL), and The University of South Florida Winter Guard (FL). Andy also works with other such groups as Melbourne High School (FL), Durant High School (FL), Nease High School (FL) and numerous other FFCC, GCGPC, WGASC, SAPA, and SCGC medalists and BOA Regional Finalists.

Andy is also employed as a Hospital Social Worker at Lakeland Regional Health Systems. In his personal life, Andy enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing with his two dogs, and reading
