ATLAS PERCUSSION

Erin Machmiller
Visual Coordinator
Erin Machmiller has been involved in indoor percussion since marching as a visual ensemble member in the scholastic group, Nease Open Percussion Ensemble, back in 2015 and 2016. After graduating high school, she joined the visual ensemble for Unity Percussion (PIA) in 2017. The dedication and passion Erin gave as a leader in these groups brought them to WGI Finals in Dayton, Ohio, and medalling bronze with Unity Percussion.
Erin’s teaching career started right after graduating high school when she started teaching at Nease High school for their marching programs. Erin devoted herself to her craft for several years and helped Nease Indoor Percussion win first-in-class visual at FFCC championships in 2021. Since then, Erin has graduated from the University of Florida and has expanded her career to teaching as a general music teacher at an elementary school in Brevard county. She also dedicates her time to teaching visual technique and choreography for the Melbourne High School and Tocoi High School Marching Bands.
Erin is excited to be the visual coordinator for Atlas Percussion in 2023!
